Villa Olivotti is a creation of conservation and giving new life into something that used to be grand a century ago.
Family Olivotti made this house their home over a century ago when Mr Olivotti became the chief engineer to construct the railway through the Alps linking Austria with the littoral parts of its empire.
After decades of decay, 4 dandy apartments with a sumptuous spa were created to give this culturally and historically protected building a new life. Award winning architectural studio combined the art nouveau designer pieces with sleek gold-plated metal details, rich velvety curtains and funky colours to create a unique villa that has no paragon.
When hired in its entirety Villa Olivotti shines at its brightest, turning the main ground floor kitchen into a large gathering space where family style dinners and a rented sommelier gets the entire party experience the lifestyle of the olden days.
All apartments have a fully equipped modern kitchen with all the appliances, a coffee machine, a wine fridge, WiFi, a large smart TV, Netflix, Revo bluetooth speakers, natural Slovene cosmetics, as well as access to the private wine cellar (wines are available upon request. Wines are not included in the price and will be charged separately), private spa equipped with Finnish sauna, Turkish sauna, and a dedicated resting area.
When renting an apartment, please note that we cater primarily to adult guests, however we also welcome teens from ages 12 and onward. If you rent the entire villa, there is no minimum age requirement, however we do not provide cots. Our beds cannot be separated into twin beds.
Your luxury retreat in the residential part of Bled is a perfect base to explore the town of Bled on foot or to explore a wider area of Julian or Kamniško-Savinjske Alps with your preferred method of transportation. And this in Slovenia includes bikes, parachutes, SUP, hot air baloons and more. Activity is Slovenia’s second name and there is no better place to call home in Bled than Vila Olivotti.
Our master apartment spreads over 101m2 across two distinct areas separated by large panelled floor-to-ceiling double doors. Kitchen and day lounge merge in one big open space where the kitchen island takes centre role of this grand room together with a massive walnut dining table big enough to host your entire party, and with a direct access to the outside terrace.
Through a spacious foyer with its own private entrance we enter the sleeping quarters - from the multipurpose room that can be used to relax and read a book or where a big queen size bed unfolds and can sleep two additional people we connect to the master suite via a spacious secession style bathroom with a double basin, walk-in shower, heated mirrors, and our bespoke collection of natural cosmetics. The master bedroom features exposed brickwork, a self standing bathtub, as well as direct access to the outside terrace.
From the sleeping quarters the private brass-oak staircase leads to Apt 12, where interconnecting doors allow this suite to connect with the double room on the 1st floor rendering this suite perfect for 4 to 6 people with privacy and comfort of two units connected.
This apartment is located on the first floor of Vila Olivotti, features 54m2 and can accommodate 2 persons. Fully equipped kitchen with all the modern appliances connects to a small single room with a large TV on one side. This room can be used as a chill out room for reading or watching TV. From the kitchen, the view stretches towards lake Bled with amazing vistas over the island on one side and on the other the 1000-year old castle of Bled.
Bathroom features a double basin, a walk-in shower, heated mirrors, and our bespoke collection of natural cosmetics. The bedroom features a large king sized bed, retractable TV that remotely pops out of the chest of drawers when you want to watch it, and never compromising your view over the lake or ruining the aesthetics of the apartment when not in use.
This apartment is suitable for two persons. It spreads over 53m2 and features a fully equipped kitchen, a small library area that connects to a covered balcony overlooking the terrace in front of the villa with vistas over lake Bled and its island, as well as the 1000-year old castle of Bled.

The bedroom features a large king sized bed, retractable TV that remotely pops out of the chest of drawers when you want to watch it, and never compromising your view or ruining the aesthetics of the apartment when you are not watching it.
Small interconnecting doors lead to Apartment 00 when both units are booked together and is perfect for a family or 2-3 couples wanting to share a larger apartment with a master kitchen. When the apartment is rented individually, these doors are securely locked and merge with the aesthetics of the apartment and as such are almost unnoticeable.
This top-floor suite redefines top floor as it is divided into two parts: with 94m2 the round-goes-round part has no internal walls and depending on the direction you take the entire area flows: the kitchen space is open and also acts as a dining area for 4 persons, and a lounge for daytime hanging out area with a comfy sofa. Retractable TV pops out remotely when you want to watch it, while never compromising your view or ruining the aesthetics of the suite when you are not watching it.
Continuing with the flow of the apartment there are two smaller chill out areas perfect for reading while overlooking the vistas over the lake on one side and a jungle area with lots of cushions on the other side. Both sides come together in the master bedroom, featuring a smaller sofa and a self standing bathtub. There is a narrow bathroom with a walk-in shower and our bespoke collection of natural Slovene cosmetics.
The second part of this suite continues up steep but short staircase where a very unique double bed in the very top of the roof is nestled. Panorama windows offer unobstructed views of the starry skies in the night and during the day a nearly 360 view of the area. This nook feels cosy, snug, and gives an overall “hyggelig” feeling.
Our bespoke spa features a dry Finnish sauna as well as a wet Turkish sauna, a lounge to relax with a peaceful view that makes you all hyggelig.
Flexibility is the key. Whether you would like to learn to cook a new local dish, or have a Michelin starred chef cooking a meal for you, take a bike and explore the local hills or enjoy sailing on the lake, we can make it happen.
The mezzanine leading to the private spa acts as your private wine cellar, featuring some of Slovenia’s best wines showcasing our rich wine culture and history as well as our geographic diversity with all the different grape varieties that can be found through the territory of Slovenia. Fancy a bottle of something world renowned instead? Worry not, our wine cellar has you covered.
We provide DIY typical Slovenian breakfast package that will be waiting for you in your apartment and the provisions will suffice for the entirety of your stay.
Our bespoke cosmetics is produced by two Slovene producers and we are proud to say none of the ingredients have been tested on animals and are all natural or produced according to organic standards. They come packed in recyclable aluminium containers you can take home with you or leave behind and we make sure they get reused. Even the label is paper based and dissolves organically. We care for the environment and the impact tourism has on our planet.
